Snow (Snow Boy, Snow Man, Snowy)

Snow was found walking alone down the street and was rescued by the wife of our pest control man. They introduced Snow to Ray's mother, and it was love at first sight.

Ray's mom had lost her cat and dog (from old age and natural causes) not too long before, and she had felt a real emptiness without her wonderful pets. Mom was very happy to have her wonderful new cat, a black cat which mom promptly named "Snow".

Snow man loved to push himself around on the floor while sitting in a plastic lid to what looks like a Swiffer box. He also loved to run up a four foot ladder and sit on the shelf. Not to be outdone by any K9, Snow would beg for scraps from Ray's father while dad enjoyed a sandwich for lunch.

Snow was assured to be given a snack!

Ray's mom and dad went out for a day of "kitten shopping" to find a friend for Snow, to help keep him company. Not that Snow would ever have a chance of being lonely; mom just wanted him to have a playmate of the same species.

After what would have been one of their most wonderful days together, after choosing the perfect kitten and looking forward to adopting it the next day, Ray's dad suffered a heart attack and passed away in the car, just two blocks from the hospital emergency room.

Mom went back and adopted a beautiful, funny colored (mostly a whitish color) kitten that she immediately named Shadow. Shadow went home and lived with Ray's mom and Snow. They all got along wonderfully too; but only two months after Ray's dad passed away, his mom passed away as well. While mom had been in the hospital for testing, she was only concerned about her kitties.

When mom had gone to the hospital, we had taken the kittens and moved them in with us. We assumed that mom would be coming home, and we actually moved mom in with us as well. We never got to tell mom that she would be coming home with us, before we got the chance; mom slipped into a deep sleep and never woke up. Four days later, she was gone.

We adopted her cats and promised them love and devotion forever.

Puff, while not initially happy about the whole plan, came around nicely and loves her brother and sister very much. Snow follows Ray around most of the day, unless he is napping with other kittens or chasing Bella Brown Cat.
