VDO1 began as the video department of a Fort Lauderdale based court reporting firm, Associates / Certified Reporting.
As business grew and we began to provide video services for other court reporting firms, Video One Productions, Inc.
was formed.
Video One Productions, Inc. grew steadily over the 1990's from a one man, part-time operation to first one, then two
additional full-time videographers. We remained at three full time videographers through the rest of the 1990's.
Several mergers occurred in the 1990's and in 1998, Video One Productions, Inc. was merged into a nationwide court
reporting company.
Being part of a national court reporting firm took focus away from the roots of what built Video One Productions, Inc.
in the first place - local, high quality customer service with an emphasis on technological excellence.
On January 1st, 1999, VDO1 Productions began business as a General Partnership with two of the original videographers
from the previous company. The shortened name was used to signify that some type of change had taken place, ownership.
In reality, the primary staff remained with the new company.
On January 1st, 2002, Ray Hayden took over VDO1 as a Sole Proprietorship. The new, more streamlined name, was desired
as we began to do more than just video production and editing. We now offer PowerPoint Presentations, digital still photography
and a host of special projects that we will work on as requested.
VDO1 is as strong as ever and continues to develop even greater customer care through professional dedication and commitment
to excellence. We have three video professionals with the dedication, skill and experience to handle your litigation support needs
in all phases of audio and video production.
VDO1 has an extensive, nationwide client list! We have excellent relations with the best privately held court reporting firms in
the Fort Lauderdale area as well as additional reporting firms across the USA!
Even with the recent downturn in the economy, VDO1 remains strong and focused. While other video companies have sprung to
life, then fizzled out of existance, VDO1 is only one of a very few video companies that has remained strong, and intact, and we
have done so since 1992!
