You all know where I am heading with The Transparency Project, to provide other exam takers with essays that have known scores.
I have published my essays here for others to see how I progress in the process and so that you can see all four essays from one person as opposed to the samples on the California Bar website.
I hope that you can learn from my mistakes and get beyond the FYLSX and go on to successfully pass the California General Bar Exam after you complete your JD!
As you know, the California Bar provides us with two samples which have met two points of interest, the essay being presented had a decent score, and the author passed the entire FYLSX.
The sample essays do not have known scores, and we have no idea how the four essays rolled out for a single author.
I am uploading all of my FYLSX essays so that others can see the progress in what I did and how I did it so that it might be of assistance - and have known scores.
This is a level of transparency that we do not get from the California Bar - but working together - we can provide this for ourselves and others who come into this sort of law study behind us.
Below, you will find a table with my essays from June 2012 through October 2014. These are the unedited complete essays that I wrote for the FYLSX.
If you look over them, you will see evolution in what I was doing.
As you know, I did pass the October 2014 FYLSX, so I am sharing my insights with everyone I can!
Looking over my essays, with the known scores that I have... I hope that it is helpful to others.
Just a quick table with the links.
