you will find very helpful.
First notice the Shade Guide, you see all kinds of colors there. This is because, unlike me - many people might need anything
from one tooth to many rather than a full denture. This allows for perfect color matching for these patients!
While I was undergoing this extraction process, they released two new shades, PW4 and PW7 as the company recognizes that
teeth whitening is all the rage - why not offer that for their clients as well?
PW7 is the whiter of the two, but it is hard to tell. To the right of the shade guide is a blow up of just these two colors! You might
notice the "tooth on a stick" like is shown on the "Comparison" page.
This picture above is a thumbnail of the front six teeth in the PW7 shade. That purple band of color is a wax that holds the teeth to
the "card" you see here.
These three shots (below) are of my second visit for readjustments in the Wax Try-In stage. My wife was taking the pictures, the
first one I thought "OK..." The second is a forced smile and the third is me wondering what my beautiful wife is up to! I was just
playing around, she took great shots and it was a fun visit with Doc.
UPDATED 9/23/03 These side by side pictures will show you how the old upper denture looks next to the new upper! I
will not hollow out the center of this new one, I'll get used to the way it feels instead. I did make a minor adjustment in the
very back (don't do this, let your dentist do it for you - if I mess it up, I'm willing to buy a new one - NOT cheap!...) to cut
down the gag reflex!
Also - check out the comparison page, I've added a picture of me as a kid with really bad teeth... my mom got me a
trumpet for those school music lessons and that fixed them up without braces! imagine that... I've also added a
temporary shot of me from today, 9/23/03.... I go back to Doc tomorrow morning at 8:45AM for some immediate
adjustments as I call them for fit and comfort.
